Because Hainan Island is not heavily industrialised, its greenery, together with its beautiful beaches and clean air, make it a popular tourist destination in China. Hainan features more than 1000 kilometers of coastline, of which more than 300 kilometers are beaches. There are also scenic mountains and a history shrouded in myth.

Sanya, at the far south of the island, is the most well known tourist hot spot and has been developed specifically as a top resort city in China. But there is far more to Hainan than just Sanya and many of the hidden gems remain all but unknown to the outside world.

Our bicycle tours mostly go through the primarily agrarian countryside of Hainan. They will take you places that few visitors ever go but still make sure that you spend the night in luxury in one of the many resort hotels that dot the island.
